For what it's worth, commenting is not a requirement of being on my f-list. I am not into the mutual back-scratching thing on lj. If you want to comment, please do, but I'm not going to defriend you if you just lurk. In return, please understand that I'm not much of a commenter either, not the least of which is because of my hectic schedule.

I just wanted to let you all know -- mutual friends, those who've friended me, and lurkers alike -- that due to a variety of personal reasons, I will be completely f-locking my journal from here on, and f-locking all past entries sometime in the next few days.

It's not something that I necessarily entirely want to do -- I've made a lot of wonderful friends from people who have wandered by my public entries and gotten interested, and I know that people like to lurk on my journal as well, which I also don't mind at all. However I have my own reasons that really make me feel that it is in my best interest to lock down my journal. (And before anybody does any mad speculating, this isn't related to anything online. It's a personal thing, really!)

If you are someone who has friended me but who I haven't friended back and you want me to, or if you are a lurker who wants to keep reading, please feel free to comment here and let me know. I'm more than happy to friend you for that. I'm also not the kind of person who requires people to comment on my entries to remain friends, or that kind of thing, so being friended doesn't mean you suddenly need to comment. I don't have a lot of time to read lj myself and I rarely comment either. There's no mutual back-scratching needed here. If you enjoy reading my journal, that's enough. (^^)

Anyway, that's about the long and the short of it. I apologise for the inconvenience. ^^;
